76-year-old Xiao Zhen Xie was mind­ing her own busi­ness in down­town San Fran­cis­co when a man punched her with no provo­ca­tion.

She grabbed a board lying near­by and put him in the hos­pi­tal with it.

Xiao Zhen Xie’s fam­i­ly set up a GoFundMe page to help her with med­ical expens­es. Her attack­er, on the oth­er hand, is still suf­fer­ing from Acute Fail­ure of the Vic­tim Selec­tion Process.
