Pop quiz, hotshot: What comes to mind when you hear terms like “death cult” or “human sacrifice”? The Taliban? Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom? Planned Parenthood?
How about Texas Republicans?
Texas and Mississippi both lifted their mask mandates. Seems they both believe their residents are adults and can make their own risk assessments and decisions.
And Democrats hate it when adults think for themselves.
So Joe Biden, Beto O’Rourke, and their MMMs have all ta–what? You don’t know who Joe Biden or Beto O’Rourke is?
Don’t be embarrassed; not everyone’s a trivia buff.
Joe Biden is the President of the United States. He’s kind of like Willy Wonka: He rarely appears in public, and some people say he doesn’t exist.
Beto O’Rourke was a Representative from Texas; he also ran for President for about 15 minutes in 2016, until he forgot he was from Texas and promised to take away people’s guns if he was elected.
Anyway, Biden and O’Rourke are Concerned, Very Concerned, about Texas’ callous disregard for Socialism, so they summoned the MMMs to respectfully discuss the issue with Texans and Mississippians and the rest of us:
Biden called Texas and Mississippi “Neanderthals”:
O’Rourke had a more nuanced approach: He says the GOP in Texas are “literally killing” other Texans to make a political statement, which is that the GOP is a “death cult.”
To be fair, Biden is old enough to remember the Neanderthals, so he knows what he’s talking about. And O’Rourke isn’t a Congresscritter anymore, so no one really cares what he thinks.
The MMMs have been in damage control: Jen Psaki announced that Biden’s “Neanderthal” comment was just “a reflection of his senility–I mean, frustration,” while Newsweek insisted Biden didn’t really call anyone Neanderthals and they’re sorry if you’re dumb enough to think he did.
They’re just ignoring O’Rourke, which is what everyone else was already doing anyway.
